Financially free indeed MINISTREES
Laying a Strong Foundation
By Minister GARY O SHIELDS SR.
Evaluating whether I am RICH TOWARDS GOD
FOR
Matthew 16 vs 28 states… for what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for soul?
St john 8 vs 32 and vs 38
MY PURPOSE… is to be a bridge between the have and the have nots to offer the information, and opportunities required to reconcile these 2 groups of people financially in the(1) body of Christ,(2) for black and brown people( who have been marginalized the most) and (3)to those who desire to leave an inheritance for their children's children in turn creating generational wealth. As PROVERBS 13/22 instructs us to do.
MY MISSION… is to teach God's people how to be free indeed financially, through the means of their passive income replacing their monthly expenses one bill at a time.
MY ASSIGNMENT… is to teach a series of biblically based wealth building classes that are passive, and grounded in numbers not opinions, or emotions, so that God's children can become financially free indeed by replacing one bill at a time with cash flowing investments. (IE cash flowing assets.)
Today I have been assigned to talk to you about three groups of people.
#1 Are Poor people, (no matter how much money they have ),and how they think.
#2 Are financially rich people that only have lots of money,( how they think and talk,) but are poor towards God.
And #3 How the rich and wealthy people towards God think and act, depict it in the scripture found in 2 Corinthians 8 vs 9 which states…. for you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake he became poor,(in comparison to what he possessed in eternity) that you through his poverty we might become rich( in every area of your life)
Mentally poor people
No matter how much money they have, and even amongst the body of Christ, (the church.)
Always think about how much money they don't have.
How much they need, and how unfair it is ,that others have so much, and that they have so little.
They have a victim and scarcity mentality.
Please note that these individuals refuse to accept the reality that it's impossible to be a victim and a victor at the same time, and or, to have a scarce mentality and an abundant mentality simultaneously. Your choice.
People, of God, you can't quote 1 Corinthians 15 vs 57 which states…. but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the same breath make excuses that sound like,
Well if this or that hadn't happened to me I would be, or
If I had what they had I would be,
WELL you don't have what they have, and it did happened for you, that's not going to change, so what are you going to do with what you have, so that those that you love and care for, don’t have to experience what you didn't have the opportunity to experience.
Please note that you are going to be a victim or a victor, but you can't be both. Your choice.
Either 1 John 5 vs 4/5 which states…. for whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the son of God. Is true in your life, or it's not. You choose.
Either Romans 8/31and 32 and 36/38 it's true which states…. what shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? For he who did not spare his own son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ, shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written for his sake, we are killed all day long we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor heights nor depths, nor any other thing created, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Is true or it's not, you choose.
These people Become victims, of the original sin, which was then and still is now focusing on what one doesn't have rather than all of the blessings , opportunities and riches that they do have.
The scripture that clearly depicts this level Of scarcity is found in Genesis 2 vs 7/8 and vs 15 which states…. the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being. The LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden (a protected place of provisions) and there he put the man who he had formed. Out of the ground the Lord God made every tree that was pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Vs 15 then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it, And the Lord God commanded the man saying, of every tree of the garden you may freely eat but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for on the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Please note that every and freely sounds like abundance to me, what about you?
Chapter 3
Vs 1 now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, has God indeed said, you shall not eat of every tree of the garden?( he test her knowledge of God's word) And the woman said to the serpent we may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden but of the fruit of the tree in the midst of the garden God has said you shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, last you die.Vs 4 Then that serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be open, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.vs6 so the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her and he ate.(Always remember that people who do wrong never desire to do it alone they always want some company to quiet their conscience)vs 7 Then the eyes of both of them were open, and they knew that they were naked,( they knew that they blew it ) and they sold fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.( tried to hid there mess)
Other symptoms of mentally poor people Financially
They are always concerned with making enough money to pay their bills and fund their lifestyle even though they are consistently initiating lifestyle creep.
They are consistently thinking about, and plotting how to get more money from someone (usually through manipulation and flattery) without Thinking about ways to add any more value to the people who they desire it from.
They Consistently fantasize, name and claim, and have some type of metaphysical bellhop faith,(as though God is there holy Butler or maid)
Thinking about what they are going to buy , where they are going to go and experience, to make them feel and appeared to others, and to themselves, that they are rich and well to do.
Please note this type of name and claim hocus pocus faith never considers the hard work, sacrifices, and strategic planning that is required for them to get what they desire, but rather they just expect God to do all of the heavy lifting, and for them to reap the rewards, Please note no matter how much money they have when they think like this they are poor and soon to be broke or behind bars.
(Now) Only financially rich people.
People that are only rich financially, and not rich and wealthy towards God and the Godly principles that are found in the scriptures. Only talk about what they have bought.
How much they have.
Where they have gone and travel too.
How much they have given to charities.
who they know and,
who their friends are.
what they drive. what kind of home they live in and where it is…etc., All, without offering a road map for others who are just as ambitious as they were, but just need a little guidance.
Please note that no matter how much money these individuals have, from God's perspective, they are poor, as Philippians 2 vs 3 clearly reminds us of, which states…. don't be selfish, don't try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as much as you think of yourself. Don't look out only for your own interest but take an interest in others too.(NLT)
Also Revelations 3/14-22 has a strong warning towards people like this. Which states… write this letter to the pastors of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen-the faithful, and the true witness, the beginning of God's new creation.(all depictions of Christ our savior)
I know all the things you do, that you are neither hot or cold. I wish that you were one or the other but since you are lukewarm, neither hot nor cold I will spit you out of my mouth.
You say I am rich I have everything I want, I don't need anything, and you don't realize that you are wretched and miserable, poor , blind and naked. So I advise that you buy gold from me-gold(true spiritual riches) that has been purified by fire.(Maintaining ones integrity under pressure) Then you will be rich also buy white garments(our righteousness from Christ alone) from me so you will not be ashamed by your nakedness, and My anointment(always describing the discernment that comes from the Holy Spirit) for your eyes so that you will be able to see. For I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.
Look I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door,(your heart) i will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends. Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my father on his throne.
Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the spirit, and understand what He is saying to the churches.
On the other hand, truly individuals that are wealthy towards God
Are awakened to the reality of how valuable they are in Christ Jesus.
They realize who they belong to which is God's royal family of believers Ep 1/5
They realize what and who they have access to found in Heb 4/16( the throne of grace)
They realize the brilliance that they have access to found in 1Cor 2/16( the mind of Christ.)
They realize the wisdom that they have access to found in James 1/5, and because of these privileges they, and most importantly they
wage a personal war against any thoughts in their mind that are scarce, selfish, limiting, envious, jealous, not sharing, but rather self-consuming, thoughts that lack gratitude, but rather desire pity. Thoughts that are consumed with their problems rather then asking God for the wisdom to create a solutions. Thoughts that look for shortcuts, rather than asking God for the wisdom and endurance to persevere until the desire results are experienced. Please note that according to the scriptures no matter how much money you lack, individuals that focus successfully have victory over these destructive thoughts through the power of the spirit of God living in them, are rich towards God and through hard work and focus determination they are destined to experience God's abundance financially in their life, if those of us who have the privilege of having wealth provide for them the same education, and opportunities required for them to be as successful as we are. Amen? As far as I am concerned they do not deserve to experience any lack whatsoever in their finances because of a lack of exposure and opportunities to feel the gap in their financial lives.
This by far is my primary motive in creating free indeed ministries.
Individuals who are truly wealthy towards God
1.Think about having the freedom to solve problems that exist in their community.
2.They think about leaving a springboard to help their children's children learn and experience greater opportunities in their lives, as Proverbs 13/22 reminds us which states…. that a good man or a woman leaves and an inheritance to there children's children, but the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous.
3.They think about having the freedom to help and to offer opportunities to those who truly want to put in the study and the hard work necessary to help themselves.
4.They think about having the freedom to share an experience memorable moments with their friends and loved ones without being burden by the cost.
5. They think about having the freedom to teach those who are hungry to learn.
6.They think about having the freedom to learn new things that will not only enhance their lives, but their loved ones as well without being constrained by time, or cost.
7.AND because of their generosity and willingness to serve, they have a clear conscience to think about the nicer things that they would desire to have, experience, and enjoy in this life.
8.They think about having the freedom to give to those who truly cannot help themselves yet need assistance.
In conclusion
as I have mentioned before, I hate poverty and what the lack of financial resources(true wealth) offered to poor communities , their educational systems, (or the lack there of) their health (because of food deserts) the lack of well-being for families ,and the conditions that they are forced to live in, the PTSD that they are subject to experience as children because of senseless violence that is unchecked in the places where they live, and finally because of a lack of financial education and opportunities that could easily be provided to the innocent and ambitious that desire to escape the mental prison of ignorance do to no fault of there own.
But please let's be clear
NO amount of money can heal you of a sin sick broken heart that has been filled with injuries , disappointments and remorse ,that only the Lord Jesus Christ can heal.
This is why I believe with all my heart, that true riches and real wealth begins and ends with being born again,
being rich towards God, and accepting the free gift of salvation, healing and wholeness through our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
The other hand, what we don't want is to be found like the is rich man in Luke 12/13-21 which states…. Then someone came from the crowd, teacher please tell my brother to divide our father's estate with me. Jesus replied, friend who made me a judge over you to decide such things as that? Then he said beware guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own. Then he told a story, a rich man had a fertile farm that produce fine crops and he said to himself what should I do? I don't have room for all of my crops. Then he said I know, I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I'll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. Then I'll sit back and say to myself my friend, you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy eat, drink, and be merry, but God said to him, you fool you will die this very night. Then who will get everything you work for? Yes a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth and not have a rich relationship with God.
May God richly bless you my beloved
