Integrity Reflects God’s Character (Proverbs 20:7) Integrity Builds Trust (Proverbs 10:9) if people can’t trust your word, your influence crumbles. Integrity builds trust by making your actions consistent with your beliefs and words Integrity Guards Against Hypocrisy (Psalms 2:1) Without integrity, it’s easy to live a double life — one image in public, another in private. That leads to spiritual decay. Integrity keeps your heart and actions aligned, so there’s no duplicity. Integrity Strengthens Your Legacy (Proverbs 13:6) A godly man leaves behind more than material wealth — he leaves a legacy of character. Integrity becomes a blueprint for the next generation. Integrity Holds in Pressure (Job 2:3) When temptations come — to lie, cheat, retaliate, compromise — integrity is what holds a godly man together. It's your spiritual spine. Fathers are empowered to affect the future through their children “The greatest mark of a father is how he treats his children when no one is looking.” — Dan Pearce Ephesians 6:4 "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Fathers are called to lead with balance—discipline and godly guidance, not harshness. “The best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.” — John Wooden Colossians 3:21 "Fathers, do not aggravate your children, or they will become discouraged" Encouragement should mark fatherhood, not discouragement. “It is easier for a father to have children than for children to have a real father.” — Pope John XXIII Hebrews 12:7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? Discipline, when done with love, is a sign of true fatherhood. “Don’t worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you.” — Robert Fulghum 1 Thessalonians 2:11–12 "And you know that we treated each of you as a father treats his own children. We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you..." A father’s role includes encouragement, correction, and urging children toward godliness. “Your greatest contribution to the Kingdom of God may not be something you do, but someone you raise.” — Andy Stanley Proverbs 17:6 Grandchildren are the crowning glory of the aged; parents are the pride of their children. A father is a source of pride and strength for his children. “Fathers, your children will become who you are… so be who you want them to become.” – Dave Willis Some closing thoughts “The legacy of a godly father is not in what he leaves TO his children, but what he leaves IN them.” “A father carries pictures where his money used to be.” – Steve Martin The heart of fatherhood is to mirror the heart of God.” Happy Father's Day
